ISO 21001(EOMS) Educational organizations management system
Education is a crucial need for everyone in society and thus the expectations on the quality of education delivered by education providers has increased. Further, there is a critical and continuous need for educational organizations to evaluate the degree to which they meet the requirements of learners and other beneficiaries, as well as other related interested parties, and to improve continuously. For this, Educational organizations need a more focused Management standard to deliver value. ISO 21001(EOMS) Educational organizations management system is the most focused standard for Educational Organizations and learning service providers. Including specifications such as operational processes for education services, strategies for best practices, social responsibilities, Curriculum structure and much more. 
PDCA FRAMEWORK
- Plan- Forming organizations policies, establishing objectives and processes, identifying risks and opportunities, Resources needed to deliver results in accordance with learners & other beneficiaries
- Do- Putting to work all the planned activities such as policies, processes, objectives, etc.
- Check- Monitoring and reviewing performance against the policies, objectives, and actions to be undertaken for continuous improvement and reporting the results
- Act- Maintains and improves the management system by taking corrective actions based on results. Reviewing and reappraising the scope, policy, and objectives if required.
Scope & Application
All requirements of this document are generic and applicable to any organization that uses a curriculum to support the development of competence through teaching, learning or research, regardless of the type, size or method of delivery.
This document specifies requirements for a management system for educational organizations (EOMS) when such an organization:
a) needs to demonstrate its ability to support the acquisition and development of competence through teaching, learning or research;
b) aims to enhance satisfaction of learners, other beneficiaries and staff through the effective application of its EOMS, including processes for improvement of the system and assurance of conformity to the requirements of learners and other beneficiaries.
